By placing a booking or making payment (including the bond), the customer (“Hirer”) agrees to these Terms and Conditions and enters into a rental agreement with Epic Party Hire (“Owner”).
All hire charges are based on a daily rate unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Payment, including the bond, must be made in full prior to collection or delivery.
If equipment is retained beyond the agreed hire period, additional charges apply.
Late returns without prior arrangement may be charged at 1.5x the daily hire rate.
A refundable bond is required for all hires. This amount varies depending on the equipment.
The bond is returned after the items are checked and confirmed to be returned in clean, working condition.
Deductions may be made for:
Damage or missing items
Late returns
Cleaning or repair fees
If costs exceed the bond amount, the Hirer will be invoiced the balance due and is expected to pay within 7 days.
All equipment is used at the Hirer’s own risk.
The Hirer is responsible for ensuring safe and proper use at all times.
The Hirer must not:
Subhire or lend the equipment to a third party
Alter, repair, or tamper with the equipment
Use the equipment in unsafe or unlawful ways
Equipment must be returned in the same condition it was received (excluding normal wear and tear).
Any damages, loss, or excessive cleaning requirements will incur charges.
Items should be ready for pickup in an accessible location. Extra fees apply for return trips due to missing or inaccessible gear.
If any item becomes faulty during the hire period, the Hirer must notify us immediately.
Do not attempt repairs. We will send a technician if needed.
If a fault is determined to be due to user misuse, a call-out fee of $60 will apply.
Delivery and collection services are available at an extra cost.
Delays caused by inaccessible locations, incorrect addresses, or no one on-site may incur additional charges.
All equipment must be ready for collection at the prearranged time.
Bookings cancelled within 7 days of the event may incur an 80% cancellation fee.
All deposits are non-refundable.
Any changes to orders must be confirmed at least 48 hours before delivery.
Epic Party Hire is not liable for:
Injury, loss, or damage resulting from use of equipment
Delays caused by weather, traffic, or external conditions
All responsibility lies with the Hirer once the equipment is delivered or collected.
Any unpaid balances, including damage or late fees, may be referred to debt collection.
The Hirer is responsible for any collection or legal fees incurred.
Interest of 18% per annum may be charged on overdue accounts.
By hiring from Epic Party Hire, you agree to the use of your personal details for the purpose of managing your booking and any related communication.
Your information is handled in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020.
